Bookworm is a word puzzle game where you click on adjacent letters to form words and feed them to Lex the bookworm, your green, bespectacled game mascot. Throughout the game, you’ll link letter tiles to create words, earning points similar to Scrabble. The longer your words, the higher your score, and the fewer burning red tiles you’ll face.
Beware of those fiery red letters: if a burning tile gets to the bottom of the board, it’s game over! Luckily, forming longer words not only boosts your score but can spawn gold, sapphire, and diamond tiles worth massive bonus points. Need a fresh start? Click Lex to scramble letters, but remember, it costs points.
Bookworm’s untimed classic mode rewards patience as you hunt for good words, spot suffixes like “-tion” to form longer words, and use special tiles to rack up higher scores. Whether you’re chasing bonus words or just trying to keep Lex’s library from burning down, Bookworm offers endlessly addictive, brain-teasing gameplay.
