Mancala Classic is an ancient board game of seeds, stones, and skill that has challenged players for centuries across Africa and the world. Simple to learn but endlessly deep, it consists of two rows of six pits and a large cup, your Mancala, on the right side of the board. The goal? Collect as many seeds as possible in your store before the end of the game.
You start by choosing a pit on your side of the board, scooping up every piece inside, and sowing them counter-clockwise, one stone in each pit or store, until none are left. Land your last pebble in your Mancala, and you earn another turn. Land it in an empty cup on your side while your opponent’s pit across holds stones, and you capture them all.
Play Mancala against friends, global opponents, or intelligent AI to hone your strategy. Control the board, plan moves ahead, and decide whether to press forward or pull back. The player with the most seeds in their store at the end claims victory.
