Minesweeper

Minesweeper might look like a humble grid of grey squares, but don’t let its simple theme fool you, behind each click lies a minefield of logic and tension. The objective is straightforward: reveal all non-mine squares and mark the hidden mines before you accidentally detonate one. Easy, right? Not quite. Each cell you reveal shows a number indicating how many mines lurk adjacent to it, forcing the player to analyze patterns, mark risky squares with a flag, and disable guesswork with pure logic.
With difficulty levels ranging from Beginner (few mines) to Expert (many mines), every new game randomly scatters its deadly cargo. Modes like No Guessing (NG) and No Flags (NF) add new twists, while features like chording let advanced players operate faster by automatically revealing safe adjacent cells.
Originally bundled with Windows operating systems since 1997, Minesweeper remains a masterclass in puzzle design: easy to learn, brutally satisfying to solve. Whether you're selecting your first square or grinding for a record-breaking 3BV/s speed, playing Minesweeper is a battle of wits, one wrong press, and boom.
