Swerve

At first, Swerve feels like a game that’s just daring you to fail. You tap to turn, watch your little car whip a corner too sharply, and, bam, you’re off the road, game over. But then something clicks. You start to understand the rhythm. You build a run. You time your turns. And suddenly, you’re flying down the road like you were born to drift.
This is a casual video game in form only. Behind its one-touch control scheme is a laser-focused demand for precision. Each sharp turn is a test of instinct, and every run becomes a personal battle to outscore your last. The better you get, the faster things go. It’s the kind of drive-or-die loop that makes you mutter “just one more try” 12 times in a row.
Gifts pop up on the road like pinatas full of dopamine, rewarding your survival with extra points. But don’t get greedy. Greed gets you dead.
What I love about Swerve is how simple it is, until it’s not. Games like this build tension not through story or graphics, but through speed, timing, and pure data-fed adrenaline. You don’t play Swerve. You react to it. And if you're not focused, if your control slips even a microsecond, you’ll find yourself veering off the road with nothing but regret and a new score to chase.
So go on. Take the wheel. And don’t blink.
